Some of the links on The Goods Roster are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. This disclosure is required by the FTC, and it's also just something we think you deserve to know upfront.

How this affects what we recommend

It doesn't change what makes the list. Every product here goes through the same test before we write about it: does it actually perform, is it labeled honestly, and would we buy it again at full price. If something fails that test, it doesn't get written up — commission or not. The "What We Don't Buy" section exists specifically so you can see products we tried and rejected, commission included.

Where the links go

We participate in affiliate programs including Amazon Associates, along with smaller retailer and brand programs as we're approved for them. Not every product on the site is a paid link — some are things we simply like enough to mention with no financial relationship attached.
