These four each do one job: reframing a house move instead of just narrating it, naming the rule around hitting in language a toddler can hold onto, giving feelings an actual shape a kid can point at, and — sometimes the whole assignment — just being funny enough to get requested on repeat. For a toddler struggling with hitting — says the rule and the alternative in the same breath, in board-book-simple language a 2-year-old can actually hold onto mid-tantrum instead of a lecture delivered after the fact.
it's a prompt, not a fix on its own — read it outside the heat of the moment too, or it just becomes "the book about the bad thing" instead of the better one.
"The Color Monster: A Story About Emotions" (Anna Llenas)
For a toddler learning to understand emotions — assigns each feeling an actual color instead of leaving "emotions" as one big fuzzy category, which gives a kid a concrete way to point at what's going on before they have the words for it.
the color-coding is the whole mechanism — if your kid already has a different system for naming feelings that's working, this adds one on top rather than being strictly necessary.

For a toddler who loves silly, giggly humor — no lesson, no moral, just dragons who love tacos and absolutely cannot handle spicy salsa, which is why this is the one that gets requested on repeat because it's actually funny, not because it's good for them.
