The fine print
Privacy Policy
Last updated September 2026
The Goods Roster is a small, independently run site — this policy is short because there isn't much to tell. Here's what actually happens with your information when you visit.
What we collect
We don't require an account or a login to browse the site. If you sign up for our email list, we collect the address you give us and use it only to send you new picks — nothing else, no selling or sharing it, and you can unsubscribe from any email we send. Our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical data (like browser type and pages visited) for security and performance; we don't tie this to your identity.
Cookies and affiliate links
When you click a product link and it takes you to a retailer — Amazon or otherwise — that retailer sets its own tracking cookie so we can be credited if you buy something. That's how affiliate programs work: the retailer, not us, handles that data, and their privacy policy applies once you land on their site.
Third-party sites
Any link that leaves The Goods Roster — a retailer, a brand, a program we're part of — is covered by that site's own privacy practices, not ours. We link out because we trust the product, not because we've reviewed their data policies.
Changes to this policy
If this ever changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
